  • AIMS

    Prepare for internal security competitions, in particular for the National Gendarmerie non-commissioned officer competition leading to immediate employability. Thus meet the expectations of the specifications of the Government Student Plan correlated with the recruitment needs of a large number of Gendarmerie non-commissioned officers.

    Pass the general knowledge and institutional knowledge tests and validate the physical tests of the competition.

  • ADMISSION CONDITIONS

    • Students in initial training holding a baccalaureate or equivalent and preferably a first-year level of higher education, validated or not
    • Trainee eligible for continuing education with a bachelor's degree or equivalent
    • Age: at least 18 years old and 35 years old at most on January 1 of the year / according to the age conditions of the competitions
  • STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION

    Total number of teaching weeks: 13 Delimitation of the teaching period:

    Indicative start date for lessons: mid May 2021
    Indicative end date of lessons: mid-September 2021

  • KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED

    General knowledge, in particular the ability to understand and problematize major social issues in the current situation; knowledge of the legal and institutional context, notions of history, philosophy, sociology and psychology allowing to deal with and comment effectively on societal issues. Theoretical and methodological contributions on dissertation methods.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    Mastery of written and oral expression, writing and argumentation, language skills, physical skills, resistance, endurance.

    Acquire the skills and physical condition required for the competition; know and prepare specifically for the physical tests of the competition.
    Know how to write and argue by mobilizing the knowledge acquired.
