You are planning to do an internship outside Europe.
Please find below the mandatory steps and procedures to follow with the International Relations to register your internship mobility.
Step 1
Contact Ms. Geyskens by phone at +33(0)4 13 94 24 56 or by mail to schedule an appointment, to discuss your project and find out its status.
Step 2
Keep yourself informed of the Covid-19 news in the country of destination because we will have to ask for the SDF's opinion.
Ministerial guidelines have changed the posture regarding foreign travel, and they continue to evolve.
To date, within AMU, staff and student travel is governed as follows
- within the European Area: no FSD notice
- outside the European Area: SDF notification required
- DROM-COM (DOM-TOM): mandatory SDF notification
In addition to the SDF health notice, the SDF SAFETY notice is added for foreign countries outside the European area and DROM-COM.
In the new posture, some trips require the missionary or student to provide the updated health pass indicating the presence of the vaccination; otherwise, the notice will be negative.
It is therefore necessary before any mobility outside Europe or in the DROM-COM (DOM-TOM) that our service (DRI) obtains the opinion of the University's Defense Security Officer (FSD ) before your agreement is signed by the head of the institution.
To do so, send to Mrs. Geyskens by email your internship agreement (containing the exact dates and place of the internship, the address, email and phone number of the host structure), signed at least by yourself and by the person in charge of your training and accompanied by your UPDATED HEALTH PASS if your destination is located in an orange or red geographical area and country.
Attention:
- The SDF cannot issue an opinion less than 72 hours before the start of the internship and more than 3 months before the start date of the internship.
- Your agreement must not be signed by the head of the school at this stage because it is only after the SDF has given its FAVORABLE opinion that the head of the school and the other parties of the host organization can sign your agreement.
- EXCEPTION: an internship in Great Britain does not require a SDF approval.
Step 3
Once the SDFhas given its approval, have your internship agreement signed by the other parties and then complete the "Outgoing Internship 2021/22" form available on the MoveON 2021/22 mobility portal
- Indicate as frame internship
- Submit your mobility file and the documents allowing to evaluate the access to a grant
- The signed internship agreement is already necessary to complete this step
Step 4
Submit the signed and sealed MoveON arrival certificate
Step 5
Submit thecertificate of departure on MoveON
These 5 steps are compulsory for any mobility of an AMU student outside France.
As a reminder, you are required to register on Ariane. Any internship can only be carried out after registration on the government website.
