Internal regulations of the FSS

The internal regulations contain the rules of life in the institution, as well as the rules governing teaching and examinations.

These rules must be known by all students.

1.1. Foreword

Classes are held from Monday to Friday all day long and on Saturday morning.

The Luminy campus allows you to work in an exceptional natural setting; it is important to preserve this environment and to pay attention to the road signs on the campus. The rooms, amphitheaters and sports facilities, the passageways (corridors, stairways, etc.) and meeting places (main hall, cafeteria, foyer, etc.) must also be respected by all. The quality of daily life and work of students, teachers, professors, researchers, administrative and technical staff depends on the respect of these common assets.

1.2. Life in the institution

It is formally forbidden to bring into the institution a weapon or any dangerous object or animal that can be used as a weapon.

In accordance with the Law of June 17, 1998, it is reminded that hazing is strictly forbidden inside and outside the establishment under penalty of criminal prosecution.

In accordance with the Law of January 10, 1991, smoking and the consumption of alcoholic beverages are strictly forbidden on university premises and in practical work areas.

1.2.1 Parking and traffic rules on campus

The entrance to the Faculty of Sport Sciences must be left completely free to allow access to vehicles for security, maintenance or deliveries. Similarly, access to the stairways and entrances must be left free. These obligations also apply to sports facilities, in particular to the COSEC where a space is reserved to allow the evacuation of injured persons.

Places are reserved for the disabled.

The Dean is responsible for maintaining order and security in the faculty premises. In this capacity, he may take, without referring to the UFR council, any appropriate decision to ensure that the following are respected on the territory of the faculty

  • the highway code
  • signs to ensure access to the premises by the emergency services (fire department, ambulances, etc.)
  • signs to ensure compliance with the routes and parking lots reserved for the disabled.

1.2.2 Maintaining order and discipline on university premises

In the event of non-respect for users and staff, for the premises and/or teaching materials, or of acts of deliberate degradation, the Dean will bring the person(s) responsible before the University's Disciplinary Council. Depending on the nature of the offence, the Dean may file a complaint with the appropriate civil courts.

In order to allow the exercise of freedom of information regarding political, economic and social issues, a room may be made available to students on a temporary basis. The room included in the university premises can only be used with the prior authorization of the Dean and, of course, outside normal teaching hours. It can therefore be made available to students from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. and after classes have ended. 30 and from the end of classes until 20:00. Requests must be made three days before the scheduled meeting date.

The room must be left in a perfect state of cleanliness and the materials or furniture must be carefully stored.

If the use of this room is requested for the presentation or discussion of political, economic or social problems, the request for use must be submitted to the Dean by two delegates of representative student organizations who will give their guarantee in writing: "That the meeting will take place in conditions that will not infringe on teaching and research activities, that will not lend themselves to monopoly or propaganda and that will not disturb public order".

The written documents that the student representatives of a political or union tendency will want to bring to the attention of their fellow students will be displayed on separate bulletin boards that are placed in the circulation corridor frequented by the students.

The distribution of documents in the form of leaflets may only take place outside of class hours and outside of the classrooms or other teaching facilities.

The sale of any document and the construction of stands, displays or other forms of exhibition are prohibited without prior authorization from the Dean.

1.2.3 Dress

In the context of their studies, students must always wear clean, correct and appropriate clothing. Failure to do so will result in exclusion from classes, exams, or even from the institution.

Special situations:

  • For their own safety, students must wear appropriate clothing for the various physical, sports and artistic activities that are scheduled.
  • In particular, they must have a pair of shoes for indoor sports (handball, basketball, volleyball, badminton) or tennis.
  • Caps and other headgear are forbidden in class unless expressly authorized by the teacher (APPN).

1.2.4 Personal items

Any potentially noisy object such as a cell phone, watch..., must be put on standby during the lessons, under penalty of exclusion.

Students are required to keep the school clean and to use the garbage cans for this purpose. Those responsible for damaging the premises, furniture, equipment or personal property of the host institution will be punished and held responsible for the damage caused, both civilly and financially.

1.2.6.Security

The teacher in charge of the course is the only one who can judge the feasibility of the session (weather conditions...). - Only students who are regularly enrolled in a course must be present (access to the premises is forbidden to persons not involved in the course).

1.2.7 Accidents

Accidents during teaching

Any accident, even a minor one, occurring during a lesson must be reported to the teacher immediately:

  • be reported to the professor: the latter fills out an accident report and gives it to the student who must submit it, along with the initial medical certificate, to the secretary of the school within 48 hours;
  • be the subject of a written report (in 3 copies) and given to the pedagogical secretariat within 48 hours.

In addition to the written report, ask the administrative school for a form including a medical certificate for the doctor. Return this duly completed form to the administrative school. The student pays the advance and then forwards the medical documents in the file to his Social Security center and his mutual insurance company.

In case of an emergency, the teacher or the Faculty administration will immediately call the fire department or, if necessary, the ambulance service, and will inform the person(s) to be notified in case of an accident.

The declaration must be made in writing to the secretariat of the Sports Association and on the insurer's form for all students. The statements are transmitted to the insurer by the Sports Association.
