Parcoursup

High school students or students looking for a change of direction (including apprentices) who wish to enroll in the first year of higher education must put together a file and make their wishes known on Parcoursup.

This does not apply to

• students who are repeating their first year (they must directly re-enroll in their institution)
• international applicants who are subject to a prior admission request (DAP)
• applicants who only wish to apply to foreign higher education programs (they must apply directly to the programs they are interested in)
• Students on a gap year (they have the right to reintegrate or re-enroll at the end of their gap year)

People who have already held a baccalaureate or equivalent diploma for several years and who wish to take part in a process of promotion, retraining or resumption of professional activity are more likely to be taken care of by the continuing education actors. In order to provide them with answers adapted to their needs, the Parcours+ module accessible from Parcoursup.fr as of January 22, 2020, allows them to have access to the continuing education offer identified in the universities, in the regions, or to the professional development counseling service. However, they can still access Parcoursup if they wish to apply for an initial training program.
