  • AIMS

    This training for professional purposes allows obtaining a professional card in order to supervise adapted physical activities (APA) for people with specific needs in a perspective of health prevention, rehabilitation or integration.

    Specification Aubagne site: Horse riding

    The Aubagne branch offers horseback riding as a sport. This sporting activity requires more stringent requirements and consequently more training, as is the case with horse riding. We therefore pay particular attention to the accuracy of these prerequisites, (in particular the justification of gallops, gallop 5 being recommended).

  • STRUCTURE AND ORGANISATION

    Semesters 1, 2 and 3: common core.

    Semesters 4, 5 and 6: the lessons are specialized and centered on the “APAS” training. The multidisciplinary nature of this training, combined with numerous interventions by qualified professionals, visits to specialized establishments and internships in a professional environment, reinforces the professionalization of students as soon as they obtain their license.

  • KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED

    Professional intervention in Adapted Physical Activity is part of specific university training which mobilizes multidisciplinary scientific knowledge to assess the resources and specific needs of populations and which is based on teaching skills in physical, sports or artists to design personalized intervention projects.

  • PROFESSIONAL SKILLS TO BE ACQUIRED

    Design, organize, conduct and evaluate Adapted Physical Activity (APA) programs provided to people with specific needs, for the purposes of:

    • prevention and health education,
    • rehabilitation, post-rehabilitation,
    • of education,
    • of integration and inclusion.
  • INTERNSHIPS AND SUPERVISED PROJECTS

    During his Personal Professional Project, the student is accompanied and guided in the construction of his project.

    He will carry out a first observation and intervention internship of a minimum duration of 40 hours in L2, and two intervention internships of a minimum duration of 70 hours in L3.

  • SUPPORT FOR YOUR LABOR MARKET INTEGRATION

    An internship office helps students choose and find their internships. A large database of potential internships, adjusted and updated each year, helps support students in their search for host structures. A network of former students is led by faculty staff. Three associations domiciled at the faculty also work for the integration of students.
