If you practice a sport at a high level, Aix-Marseille University allows you to reconcile your sport career with your higher education studies.
Terms and conditions of application
The attribution of the SHN AMU status is based on the sports record and the training constraints. Students registered on the ministerial lists or belonging to a training center or a training center of a professional club are eligible for SHN-AMU list 1 status. Athletes who are not eligible for this status but who have a significant sports record (national or inter-regional elite) and significant training constraints are eligible for SHN-AMU status list 2.
The advantages of the SHN-AMU status
SHN-AMU students can benefit, according to the possibilities of each training program, from pedagogical arrangements: specific organization of the timetable; shifting of examinations; adapted pedagogical devices; tutoring.
Once the status has been granted, the students concerned will be informed of the specific arrangements for the course. All adjustments to studies or exams must be made through the SHN referent of the component.
On the Aix Marseille University website, you will find all the administrative procedures for applying for SHN-AMU status.
Follow-up of the studies
The head of the High Performance Department is responsible for helping the high performance students designated by the above-mentioned committee to make their choices, to adapt their curriculum and to harmonize it with the sports schedule.
Obligations of high-level sports students
Students benefiting from the Convention in favor of high-level athletes undertake to represent the Faculty of Sports Sciences with dignity in sports or public events and to take part in the events organized by the partners whenever possible (...).
