A delocalized section in Gap welcomes students in the first year of the Licence Staps and in the Licence Professionnelle "Gestion des organisations, des services sportifs et de loisirs", option "Métiers de la montagne".
There are four teachers to provide the majority of courses related to sports activities, the rest being provided by temporary teachers. Theoretical courses are taught by teachers, most of whom come from Marseille and most of whom complete their service by research.
The site is directed by Eric MANGEANT.

Courses in Gap
Studies in Licence 1
The specificity of the studies in Staps comes from the fact that a student must manage an intensive physical activity and a consequent follow-up of theoretical courses.
A student enrolling in Gap will have to choose a sport specialty among skiing, mountain biking, climbing, team sports.
He or she will also take part in multi-sport activities: mountain running, swimming, cross-country skiing, mountain biking, volleyball. Each APSA is developed around practical work and theoretical work.
For the details of the courses, you can consult the brochure written for this purpose on the website of the Faculty of Sports Sciences. It is the same for all that concerns the inscriptions and the payment.
The professional degree
The objective of the professional degree is to develop a double competence in management and in charge of leisure sports services within local authorities, associations and commercial organizations.
Given the geographical location of the city of Gap, this degree will be particularly focused on the management and organization of physical activities in a natural mountain environment.
