The Marseille site is the main site of the Faculty of Sports Sciences. It welcomes nearly 1650 students every day, from the first year of the bachelor's degree to the doctorate. The site benefits from the best sports facilities on the Luminy campus and a large number of teaching rooms, from an amphitheatre to computer rooms.
The Marseille site hosts the two research laboratories that support the courses and thus allows total permeability between teaching and research.
The site also benefits from the campus infrastructure, notably the university library in the Hexagon building.

All of the diplomas in the training plan, except for the GDOSSL professional license located in Gap and the Adapted Equestrian Activities course of the APAS license located in Aubagne, are accessible to students at the Marseille site. More than 17 sports specialties are offered to students. A Master's Degree in Engineering, unique in France, 3 institutional diplomas (2 Du and 1 DESU) and a specialized master's degree (in conjunction with Polytech and the Faculty of Sciences) complete the training offer of the Marseille site and contribute to its attractiveness.
